Lucknow, 26 December 2017: Like the last summer the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has installed an electric room heater in the makeshift Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Media reports say that the move followed a request from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad after the temperature started dipping all over north India.
Similarly, in a move to protect the idols from the heat wave last summer the district administration had provided an air cooler to the temple.
According to Acharya Satyendra Das, chief priest the divisional commissioner Manoj Kumar Mishra had provided the blower heater on Saturday.
He said a new tent was pitched recently to protect the temple as the older one was in a bad shape.
The VHP thanked the district administration for providing the heater.
