The Congress has declared its names of candidates for 6 Lok Sabha seats of Delhi. With this news, speculations over alliance of Congress with AAP are over. Both AAP and Congress will go to polls solo now.
Three-time Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit and former state unit chief Ajay Maken are among the six Lok Sabha candidates that the Congress announced for Delhi Monday morning.
The Congress and the AAP both were holding talks for a possible alliance in the national capital but could not be materialised.
Here is the list issued by the Party.
The party hasn’t announced a candidate from the South Delhi constituency. Sitting BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri is the candidate of the BJP from here.
The BJP had won all the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi in 2014. The national capital will vote on 12 May.
