
Media fraternity and veterans flocked to Twitter to show their solidarity with Rana Ayyub after she received wild death and rape threats. Earlier on Friday, she shared some screenshots of threats and informed about the same to the Twitteratti. Soon after her posts on Twitter, Media fraternity and veterans flocked to the Twitter to be on the jounrlist’s side.
Jim Clancy, an American Broadcast Journalist and Former CNN International anchor was first among the fraternity to come forward in her support.
“Women journalists face Much More hate, harassment and ugly threats than their male counterparts. But we must all stand together to support Rana and all others who deserve our respect and admiration,” Jim wrote on Twitter.
